Press Release 11-14-2019 - Schlecht Family Foundation Grant Doubled

Schlecht Family Foundation Library Challenge Grant Doubled

A $15,000 challenge grant to the Capital Campaign for the New Glarus Library is now $30,000 due to the generous support of the Schlecht Family Foundation. The enthusiastic monetary response to the initial grant surpassed the goal quite quickly. As a result, the Schlecht Family Foundation has offered a second $15,000 grant to keep the momentum going until the December 31, 2019 deadline.

The total cost of the library project is $3.5 million. To date, over $1 million has been raised with an additional $1 million committed by the Village of New Glarus. The goal is to raise $1.5 million by October 2020, unless that amount is reached sooner. Whether the goal is reached or not, fundraising for the building project will end October 2020 and the new library will be built with the existing funds.

Please help us in the final stretch by making a donation and having it doubled by the Schlecht Family Foundation. Donate NOW and make a difference in the future of the New Glarus community. To donate:
