OK, you can't meet FRITZ yet, but you will soon, thanks in large part to a generous grant from the New Glarus Community Foundation of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. FRITZ stands for Foolproof Relocatable Information Technology Zeug ("stuff"), and he will be an evolving tool for library events. The goal is to have a system that is compact for easy transport and storage, simple for a single staff member to set up and manage, and versatile for supporting the range of events we offer, from single presenters to multiple speakers to outdoor movies and music and beyond.

We'll start building FRITZ in early 2020, focusing on much-needed audio-visual components funded by the Community Foundation grant - microphones, speakers, a modern projector - and we'll continue to seek funds to improve FRITZ from there.
