We have recently received inquiries about the library building project and appreciate that members of the community are eager to see it move forward. The project was on hold as we were coming out of the pandemic (assessing its impact on building costs) and searching for a new director. We are now actively evaluating and discussing site options in order to move forward. Currently, we are gathering information and communicating with the necessary people within the village to get complete and accurate information in order to determine the best option for the community. As we move along in this process we will be posting updates to our webpage. In the meantime, we will seek to serve New Glarus and the surrounding communities to the best of our ability in our current location. We are hopeful about what the future holds and thank you for your support.
