Girlfriends Craft Night: Alcohol Ink Workshop

Alcohol Ink Workshop

Thursday, August 22nd @ 6 PM

Village Hall Community Room

Join us for an evening of experimentation with one of the most vibrant paint mediums - alcohol ink!  We'll be experimenting with blending colors, adding texture, and creating patterns on metal, glass, and ceramic surfaces.  Focus on one skill or try them all - it's up to you!  Gloves will be provided, but we suggest you wear something that won't be ruined by accidental spills.

This event is open to all interested adults, as well as teens 13+ with accompanying adult.  Participation is free, but space is limited, so registration is required.  Click here to register

Please use caution if you have asthma or severe allergies to strong scents.  Although we will open the windows and do our best to ventilate the room, the isopropyl alcohol and other chemicals in the paints do have very strong aromas which may exacerbate allergies or lung problems.

Note:  Alcohol ink dries relatively quickly, but if you wish to speed the process along, you are welcome to bring a blow dryer or heat gun from home.

Mark your calendars for our other upcoming Girlfriends Craft Night Events:

  • Thursday, October 3rd @ 6 PM:  A Ghostly Gathering (assorted spooky crafts)
  • Thursday, December 5th @ 6 PM:  Vintage Vibes (decoupage trays with Sue Moss)
