NGPL Receives Community Foundation Grant

The library would like to announce that we have received a grant from the New Glarus Community Foundation, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc.  This grant will support our children's programming in 2018.  Starting in February, the library will be adding weekly Music & Movement classes for young children!  The Community Foundation grant will also allow us to increase our children's events during the 2018 Summer Reading Program.

This grant is made available from the Community Foundation's New Glarus Community Foundation.  The New Glarus Community Foundation is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of our communities.  Grants from the New Glarus Community Foundation have supported the arts, education, environment, health and human services, and historic preservation.

For more information on how you can support your community through the Community Foundation, visit  The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves nine Wisconsin counties:  Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon, and Walworth.

Many thanks to the volunteers at the Community Foundation for all of their hard work throughout the year in support of our community.
