It's that time of year again. . .

2017 Tax Forms

On January 4, the IRS announced that the 2018 tax filing season would begin on January 29th.  The IRS set the opening date to ensure the security and readiness of key tax processing systems in advance of the opening and to assess the potential impact of recent tax legislation on 2017 tax returns.  While most IRS tax forms, instructions, and publications will be available electronically on IRS.gov by the beginning of the tax filing season (January 29), the printing and distribution process for paper products takes longer to complete.

We expect tax forms to begin arriving at the library in early February.  We will have federal forms and instruction booklets for forms 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ.  We are also expecting state forms and instructions for Form 1, 1A, and WI-Z.  All other forms will be available online and can be printed upon request.
