New Glarus Woods State Park

Green County Libraries and Friends of the New Glarus Woods invite you to an evening at the New Glarus Woods State Park.  Participate in reading and art activities, and learn about furbearing animals with Certified Wildlife Biologist Jamie Nack.  Bring your own picnic dinner!

All furbearers are mammals, but not all mammals are furbearers.  Come learn about the habits and habitats of Wisconsin's 19 furbearing species, from fishers to muskrats.  There will be plenty of pelts, skulls, and tracks to to touch and explore.  Presentation begins at 6 PM.

For free park admission, all you have to do is show your library card!
