2013 Summer Library Reading Program

Thank you to all who participated in the “Dig into Reading” program this summer! We saw an increase in registration and an overall increase of 28% in time spent reading over last year. 80 Preschoolers read 638 hours, 133 of the grade school group read 1,085 hours, and 32 Teens read an incredible 673 hours for almost 100 days spent reading! In addition to our 3 reading programs, the Library presented 12 special events that were attended by a total on 505 children, teens, and adults. We'd also like to thank the following persons/organizations for their assistance in making our summer so successful.
